Textile designer. Anna Lizzio, set up her clothing shop in Tetbury four years ago sourcing unusual designers from all over the world and producing her own necklaces and belts. Now ALC has evolved into a womenswear collection which she has sold in to London shops for AW08.
Inspired by the colours and spirit of Argentina where the clothes are made, Anna works with her cousin, a Central St. Martins graduate, in Wiltshire and Buenos Aires. The collection consists of unique prints on unusual fabrics. It combines classic shapes with a colourful contemporary twist, paying great attention to detail and finishing and selling at a very good price point.
In our shop we have an ever changing list of designers. Scandinavian deisgners Odd Molly, Hunkydory and Naja Lauf are our most popular collections - our best seller is the Odd Molly 'Lovely Knit' jacket.
Among other collections you might know are: Michael Stars t-shirts, Stitch's jeans, Gwynedds, Maliparmi, Hannoh, American Vintage, Erfurt, Deeday, Zyga, 0039 Italy etc etc.
There's lots going on in Tetbury - Prince Charles Highgrove Shop, the Chefs Table delicious bistro and cooking school - Michael has a Michellin star, Quayles deli and cafe, the Blue Zucchini new bar from London with great garden, two new fashion shops No 18 and Sassey and Boo, Moloh classic english clothing, lovely painted French furniture shop Sharland and Lewis, artist, Su Daybell, has opened a fantastic flower and interiors shop Twig, alongside Ann Fowler who has returned from France with a new antique shop, aswell as a twice weekly market........millions of people are moving out of London to Wiltshire and Gloucestershire - in case you fancy a trip.
